Pack with me for Baylor vs. Oregon A&T Meet

Emily Bott 2/21/25 Hey everyone! Welcome back to continue Flippin’ with Emily. This week was a big long week, as it was expected to be. Me and my teammates left to fly all the way to Oregon for a big competitive meet against their Acrobatics and Tumbling team. We have always had very exciting and competitive meets against Oregon, but we still won.  On our travel trips the coaches will provide us a list of important clothing and shoes we will need for our meet and for practices. They also supply us with matching Baylor suitcases to use for these trips, which aren’t the most spacious to include many extra belongings other than the important stuff. Other than the clothing, I will make sure I pack prepared for every occasion that may come which are the necessities like toiletries. My toiletries necessities are my toothbrush, toothpaste, hairspray, bar of soap, shampoo, conditioner, vitamin C gummies, hair brush, icy hot, advil, and lotion. Meet Me & My Sport Acrobatics & Tumbling

  Emily Bott 2/16/25  Hey everyone, my name is Emily Bott and I am officially starting my first blog. I am a sophomore on the Acrobatics and Tumbling team at Baylor University and today I am going to explain to you the new and rising collegiate sport of acrobatics and tumbling and how our meets work. Keep up with me for next week's blog, where I will discuss some traveling tips and how our coaches run our away meets.  We have a total of five home meets, four away meets, plus the national championship that is also away located at Augustana University. A quick little background on the sport Acrobatics and Tumbling, where it is the only sport other than American Football to be created at a collegiate level. Only as far back as the year 2009, my coach, Coach Felecia Mulkey, and a few other college administrators around the country made this sport into what it is today.
