Off to the National Championships...

Hey blog,  just days away from leaving for South Dakota and we are in full swing . I will say it's been tough keeping up with all my classes, studies and just everyday life but it is all so worth it . As crazy as it sounds I do better with my schedule when I’m super busy. My body is getting tired but I know I’m conditioned to do  what I gotta do . Practices have been going great, the team is in such great spirits, even having practice on Easter Sunday ended up  being fun.  I received my packing list and like I said in the last blog it’s a challenge to be all packed in such a tiny suitcase but I’ll make it work. I’m excited because nattys have a whole different vibe. A lot of parents go and they bring the noise. They coordinate colors to wear and chants to yell while we compete . It sounds silly but it makes a difference when we hear everyone say it means so much to do good for ourselves but it’s also time to show everyone what we have been training for all year long . The long hours in the weight room and the tumbling blocks . It’s exciting to see it all come together as well as see how the other teams have come to get us! They all work so hard. It is a hard womens sport that isn’t very well known but we are hoping with the new skills that people are so impressed that they pay more attention to the sport . We have so many talented athletes on my team it’s hard to believe so many people have such a high skill set . I fly out Tuesday morning and it’s a good time on the flights to study for finals and get caught up on work, because when we get there we need to be locked into go mode. The coach takes our phones so we have no outside noise . So here we go, wish us luck and I hope to come back with good news !!!
