Fill the Ferrell April 5th For the Big Meet Baylor Vs. Oregon A&T

Hey, welcome back to tumbling with Emily. This week is a little different for me. It was the same in that we had a home meet, it was different because I had an injury that almost took me out. My MRI shows signs of stress so they put me in a boot and modified my lower body weight training. I’m happy to report it helped me to be able to get through the weekend and the home meet. I scored well and my team won !! It was a great meet against Saint Leo from Florida . The team was great as well as the athletes . We had a late practice today. We did a lot of talking to prepare us for this upcoming week and all the changes that are already made within the team. This is our last Home meet coming up next week against Oregon. They are ranked number two and we are ranked number one. It’s always a fun time going against one of your biggest competitors. If anybody's around on Saturday, we’re trying to fill the ferrell center, so I would love anybody who reads my blog to come at 5 o'clock to support me and my team and it’s a special day because it’s only two dollar tickets. All of the changes our coaches are making now are leading us up to nationals which is next month in Sioux Falls and it’s a four day event whenever we come to the end of the season it gets very stressful and our practices are long and hard. We do less weight training at this time of year, which gives us more time for actual practice. I’m excited to come back next week and let everybody know how we did against the number two ranked Oregon. I’m also excited because my family is coming in on Friday to watch my last home meet. My grandpa hasn’t been back to Baylor since I was recruited so he’s excited to see my apartment and I’m hoping I get to take him to see the Bears. Stay tuned for next week. It’s gonna start getting juicy with nationals just around the corner.
